We came in for a week break from work/to enjoy the sunshine. There are plenty of Ubers - but be prepared to take one to / from airport, off-site restaurants, etc. Could be better: * The resort is not close to anything (which is good and bad) and doesn't have any shuttle service.

* walked around, went to the pool, got a book from their free library * lots of outdoor seating for getting a drink and reading a book or working through emails. Had a couple of drinks at the bars - also good. * attended the complimentary 6 am hike and sunrise native American event 2 days straight.

room was quiet, beautiful and comfortable for working remote. It was very close to the conference center and main lobby. Masks not required for vaccinated guests - yay! Good: * 6744 (or 6477?) was a great room (not sure if there is a new / old section). Similar style to other JW Marriotts with grand open lobby leading to outdoor space. We were there for a conference 9/20 - 9/23 and enjoyed our stay. I'm surprised about the negative comments. Shame on you Marriott…you obviously do not care about your staff either. They are friendly and polite, are put in a terrible spot, as I imagine they get endless complaints about these terrible rooms. I feel bad for the staff because they have to sell this bs. I almost forgot to mention the kitchenette, but honestly, I have no words…I will just attach a photo of that sad little spot.

The worst part about it is that they have the nerve to charge $600 a night for this!!!! So upsetting. The “suite” is realistically a hospitality room (with old, smelly, beat up furniture) connected to a regular room.

It has a paper thin mattress with dingy sheets and springs that my 10 year old son turned into a meme. The roll away we requested, because the bed was so uncomfortable, was worse. The mattress in the pullout bed is hard as a rock. The room is the farthest thing from luxurious or a suite that I can imagine. It was subpar (at best) but decide to stay because it is just for a quick busy weekend and because the “luxury suite” was available.
